When you go on the road, you can reach the A1, A8 and A17 or the IC2 from the center of Batalha within 10 minutes.
The abbeys, churches, castles and museums bear witness to a historical legacy and are often included on the UNESCO's International Heritage list. The Costa de Prata is also well known for its traditional art treasures such as the china and the crystal.
Costa de Prata (Silver Coast)
A beautiful and diverse, approximately 200 km long coastline with beautiful coves and wide sandy beaches. The Costa de Prata goes from Espinho in the north to Ericeira in the south. The Silver Coast has mild temperatures, beautiful sandy beaches with opportunities for water sports.
Cities that lie in this region include: Porto in the north, the university city of Coimbra and Leiria. Fátima and Tomar in the east with the Convente de Cristo, in the west Alcobaca with the Mosteiro de Santa Maria and on the coast the authentic fishing village of Nazaré. The town of Óbidos with its beautiful white houses and crenellated walls and the fishing harbour Peniche.

Mountain Biking in the center of Portugal
At 20 minutes from Casa Ceedina is the first official mountain bike center of Portugal, the Centro BTT. In the vicinity are 7 routes of varying distance and difficulties. The total length of the whole path is 265 kilometers. It is possible to link various routes together or switch to another route. The routes go through nature and the great places in the region where a snack or drink can be consumed.
